In the Name of God the Compassionate the Merciful

The company received the compensation for the breaks of the injured employee, fired him, and forced him to knock the doors of the charity organizations to cover his medical expenses, living and to make surgeries for his treatment.

Khaled tells us (Khaled Mahmoud- Syrian national) his long crisis that began since his injury in 10/9/2007 as he said:

The company caused my injury, works around the educational city, is a Turkish  company, located 20 km to the north. Then he continued: during my work in the site beside a huge crane that was driven on a railway (30 meters only), and after the completion of that crane, while it was being carried by a crane car- by mistake- to return it to the track of the railway, my foot was broken after the pots of the crane hit it, it stretched me between the huge metal pipes, and while the driver was trying to remove the tons of metal off my body, once again, he crushed my foot and continued this with every movement up and down. After that, I was taken to Hamad Medical Organization, where I had many surgical operation that took more than seven hours, and then I was taken to a bed in the 4^th floor, where I stayed about fifty days, without the police to come and take my sayings, nor to have a visit by the administration of the company that caused my injury; it has abandoned its full responsibility for the act of its driver since I left the operation room.

In addition, the staff in the hospital refused to provide me with a wheelchair or take me to my house (the residence of the company where all my stuff and clothes and where I used to live while working for that company) after the end of the critical conditions, and thus I was forced to live with my friends who took care of me, and provided me with food and support in terms of buying medicines and take me to the medical tests, lending me money which I need, after I the company stopped me from work and never paid my salaries, including housing allowance, transportation and other medical referral costs, since the beginning of 2008. However, after long suffering, the percentage of my disability was estimated and the compensation amount was handed to the company that caused my injury and damaged my career and living life with full disability, which caused a lot of debts and led to great embarrassment with all people.

Then Khaled continued: when I demanded the company for the compensation amount which they received from the insurance company, they denied it and dismissed me without respect, and this led me to submit a complaint to the court since 23/10/2008, and since that time, the company used all evil means that can prolong the case, and this aims at entering the judicial holiday to practice more pressures to force me to become subject for its negotiations and impose the compensation amount which they will pay after a long time.

In order to prolong the case, they entered the insurance company as an opponent for them without paying the legal fees (Q. R. 3000) that resulted to the treasure of the state, and fraud the documents to extend the procedures and distances, as well as to force me to make the remaining surgical operations- which it has to pay their costs regardless of the amount- from the charity organizations, that I was force to knock their doors so many times (such as Eid Charity Organization, and the Zakat Fund as well as other entities), but here I would like to say loudly: (( the oppressor will not achieve all his wishes… wind run against the ships’ desires..))..

Then Khaled added: an expert was assigned on 28/1/2009 and until now he did not submit his report and he refused to discuss with me or listen to the details of my dues against the company, but he posed four questions like: answer so that we will accuse you, and answer based on the question)), and I will provide an example of these questions:

- what is the due compensation for you as a result for the injury, based on the document we have)).

And finally, I would like to offer my deep appreciation for the medical team who supervised my treatment especially who treated me and avoided cutting my broken foot, he is doctor Alaa El-Dinn Thahir, to whom I would like to convey an appreciation and thanking message for his human noble feelings and efforts. In addition, I would like to thank all the staff of Eid Charity Society, mainly H. E. Sheikh Aayedh Debsan Al-Qahtani and Ahmed Othman.

At last, We thanked Mr. Khaled Mahmoud, and then he said: Tashakkurat " thank you so much", and finally the question is: will the expert complete his report by the end of the judicial holiday, and will Khaled be able to make the necessary surgeries to treat his injury by the end of this century????
